Leather is an inherently environmentally friendly product. In essence, it takes a by-product and transforms it into a versatile and highly prized material – one which itself can be recycled when it has outlived its original use.
I am proud to collaborate with the Bridge of Weir, learning from their rich history of craftmanship and promote Scottish leather and it’s limitless potential.
The Bridge of Weir leather company is proud to have the lowest carbon footprint of any leather maker in the world and the only one to carry the Low Carbon Leather logo (alongside sister company, Andrew Muirhead & Son).

Leather craftsmanship has an inexhaustible treasury that is constantly being recreated and enriched as it is passed on from generation to generation.
I wanted to combine my Scottish heritage with the methods and techniques of traditional Mongolian craftsmanship to truly reconnect with raw materials tested by the livelihood and aesthetic needs of nomadic people.
